The Hillcrest UMC Community Food Bank provides food to our neighborhood community twice a month. We provide food to those who have little or no income – at no cost. We welcome volunteers to help serve our neighbors that come to the Food Bank. Distribution occurs on the first and third Thursdays of each month, from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm. You don’t have to be a church member to participate – groups are welcome to come help serve the community. Donations of food to our Food Bank are always welcome. Hillcrest UMC is located on the Nolensville Corridor in the Tusculum Area. We are blessed to call Nashville’s most recent residents from other countries our neighbors. We have welcomed MARIM church a congregation of Congolese Refugees to worship from our Sanctuary. Through ESL, HUMC Children’s Choir, Hillcrest Community Food Bank and other ministries we welcome and serve families and individuals from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Central America who moved to Nashville seeking refuge.
