UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
“United Methodist Women (UMW) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.” UMW meet the third Monday of each month at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a wonderful potluck lunch. All ladies of any age are welcome to join us for our meetings and serve with us at our activities and mission projects. SISTERS IN CHRIST
Sisters In Christ (SIC) is a subgroup of the United Methodist Women (UMW). SIC meets the fourth Sunday of the month after the worship service at a previously selected local restaurant. Sometimes, the meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall following a potluck lunch. Plan to join us for lunch, fellowship and planning of our ministries. SIC leads Hillcrest in being the Pencil Partner to Tusculum Elementary School. They also co-sponsor the School Supplies Drive each fall with the United Methodist Women. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY (WBS) AT HILLCREST UMC
A place where women get together to know God better primarily by studying the Bible but also through genuine relationships with other women. Any woman 18 years or older is invited to join, whether she attends HUMC or not. Please contact info@hillcrestumc.org to learn about ongoing opportunities.
